This information is used to sense the earth’s magnetic field and calculate the direction and heading accordingly and therefore is needed for the application to carry out its main function. The device magnetometer sensor information accessed by the application is retained on the device. The application does not send this information anywhere out of the device.

The application saves the preferences that are set within the application by the user. This data is stored on the device and is accessed and used by the application to provide a customized experience based upon the user’s choices. An example of such data is the size of the magnetic compass. This data is retained on the device. The application does not send this data anywhere out of the device.
